Murdock Street

^{For those of you who were inquiring about the location of this weekend’s campout at Murdock Street, below is a link with a map and a street view of the entrance, as well as a larger map showing .  Murdock Street is located off Plymouth Street and Everett Street - it can be reached from either. The site drive way is approximately .61 miles from the Plymouth Street/Everett Street turnoff:}

Murdock Street Campout and Summer Camp

For anyone who is camping at Murdock Street this weekend, please see this document to see the roster for the weekend.

Also, please remember that medical forms and payments are due for Summer Camp.  The cost for this year is $380 for the week at camp, and $15 for the official troop photo.  If you need the medical forms, please click here.  If you have any questions regarding the medical forms or camp, please contact Mrs. Swindle.

Tuesday Reminders

There will be a Troop Meeting this Thursday, May 28th at the Parish Hall.  If you are interested in a position within the troop, please be sure to attend this meeting.  If you are unsure what the positions are, please be sure read the full description of the positions here.

Also, the power washing of the doors of the church has been cancelled.  If you are working on the Public Speaking merit badge, please have your speech completed and bring it with you to this week's meeting.

Reminder - Memorial Day Parade

Tomorrow is the annual Middleborough Memorial Day Parade and Troop 20 is participating.  Please meet in the parking lot of Town Hall at 9:30 AM - the parade starts at 10:00 AM.

Tuesday Reminders

There will be a Troop meeting this Thursday, May 21st at 7:00 PM at the Parish Hall. 

The power washing of the church doors has been moved to next Thursday, May 28th due to a conflict.

There will be a regular Troop meeting tomorrow, May 14th at 7:00 PM at the Parish Hall.

Hike Tomorrow, May 9th

There will be a hike tomorrow morning, Saturday, May 9th at 8:00 AM at the Morgan property in Middleborough.  Please meet in the parking lot (pictured above) and be sure to bring the following:

Plenty of water

Trail snacks

Comfortable walking shoes/boots

Bug spray (for ticks)

Hat
Scout 10 essentials

We will be checking to make sure you have these items before the hike begins.  A small day pack would be helpful to carry all these items.  This hike will depart the parking lot at 8:15 AM and should last about two hours.

The Morgan Property is located off of Marion Road.  The directions from Town Hall are:

South Main Street to Route 28.
Left on Route 28 for 2 miles
Right onto Cherry Street for 1 mile
Left onto Marion Road for 3 1/2 miles
Right onto Long Point Road for 1/4 mile

The parking area is on the right.  A link for a map to the intersection of Marion Road and Long Point Road is here.  The photo at the top of this entry is of the parking lot, which will be on your right, 1/4 of a mile down after you turn onto Long Point Road.
