We will be having our regular Troop Meeting this Thursday, the 27th, at 7:00pm. Sacred Heart Parish Hall.
Here are this week's announcements:
MassJam:
- If you are registered for MassJam, and have not paid your $35 registration fee yet, please bring your $35 fee to Mrs. Swindle this Thursday.
- Scouts should check-in with Mrs. Swindle to make sure you have a valid health form on file with the Troop. All Scouts must have a current Health Form, Parts A & B, to attend. We prefer to have Parts A, B, & C on file.
- More details regarding carpooling, pickup, and drop off times will be forthcoming as we get them from council.
Youth Protection Training:
- Any adult leader who has not taken YPT since 2/2/18 must take the NEW version no later than 9/30. A certificate will be emailed to you within 24 hours showing your completion. A printed certificate must be given to Sherri Swindle and you should please keep a copy for your file as well.
- For anyone interested, there will be a YPT course offered live at Camp Norse this Thursday, 9/27, starting at 6:30pm sharp.
Murdock Street:
- We will be having our first camping trip of the year this coming weekend, 9/29 - 9/30.
- We will be meeting at Murdock Street at 9:00am on Saturday.
- For any Scouts who have not been to the Murdock Street site before, we will be hiking into the site so if you have a backpack, please bring it.
- The drop off location is 40 Murdock Street. It is a residential location. Here's a view from the street.
- Pickup will be at the same drop off location on Sunday morning 9/31, at 10:00am sharp.
Merit Badges:
- For any Scouts still working on the Personal Management or Communication merit badges, or any other partial merit badge, please bring your workbooks to this Thursday's meeting so that we can progress and make a plan for everyone to complete ASAP.
Committee Meetings:
- The first committee meeting will be Thursday, 10/4, at 6:00pm. We encourage parents to attend the committee meetings as this is where planning happens, ideas are discussed, etc.
- There will be a PLC meeting at the same time as the committee meeting for all Troop patrol leaders.
