There will be a Troop Meeting this Thursday at 7:00pm at Sacred Heart Parish Hall.
Please remember that we line up for our opening ceremony at 7:00PM so you need to plan to be at the hall about 10 minutes earlier. Please arrive wearing your Class A uniform.
Upcoming Events:
Time capsule: This Saturday, September 28th at 10:30am, as part of Middleborough's 350th anniversary activities, the town will be digging up a 50 year old time capsule at the Town Hall and planting a tree. If you'd like to see some artifacts from 50 years ago, stop by the town hall.
First Court of Honor: Troops 20 & 96 will be having our first Court of Honor of the year on October 10th. If you have any blue cards to submit for merit badges, the deadline to submit is Thursday, October 3rd. Also, if you believe you are ready for rank advancement, you need to talk to Mr. Swindle this Thursday about a Scoutmaster conference and scheduling a board of review.
October 4 to October 6 - Washburn Island Canoe/Camping Trip. We will be planning logistics, meal plans, etc.
2019 Popcorn Sales - OUR 2019 POPCORN CAMPAIGN IS UNDERWAY and runs from September 12th through October 24th!
Scouts can receive credit for 35% of their total TAKE ORDER toward their individual Scout accounts that they can apply to any Troop 20 event!
Recruiting:
This past weekend we had our recruiting event on the Town Hall lawn. We didn't get the crowd we hoped to but the Scouts had fun and it was a great display of Scouting equipment. We will be looking for additional opportunities to recruit new Scouts.
