Troop 20 & 96 Fall Court of Honor this Thursday, October 10th, at Sacred Heart Parish Hall - 7:00pm Troop

Hello Troop 20!

There will be a Court of Honor this Thursday at 7:00pm at Sacred Heart Parish Hall.  We are asking Scouts to arrive a little early to help set up.  Please remember that all Scouts should be in full Class A uniforms (including merit badge sash if you have one) when they arrive at the church.


Upcoming Events:

• 10/17     The Troop Meeting next week will be held at Troop 96's 'Church of our Savior' Parish Hall.  The hall is located at 60 Union Street in Middleborough.  Park at the town hall and walk to the hall.  It's a red brick building on the corner.
• 10/24     Rehearsal for Mark Swindle's Eagle Court of Honor.  The Troop Meeting will be back at Sacred Heart Parish Hall.
• 10/31     No Troop Meeting due to Halloween
• 11/2       Mark Swindle Jr.'s Eagle Court of Honor.  Middleborough Town Hall Ballroom.  1:00pm
• 11/7       Troop Meeting will be focused on sorting through equipment (what do we have, what should we dispose of, and what do we need?)
• 11/15-11/17    Mount Monadnock Hiking/Camping Trip.

 

Eagle Scout Court of Honor:  Mark Swindle's Eagle Scout Court of Honor will be held Saturday, November 2nd, at 1:00PM in the Middleborough Town Hall Ballroom.  Rehearsal will be on Thursday, October 24th.

 

Citizenship Merit Badges:  Mr. McKinnon will be at the troop meetings every other week to teach all three of the Citizenship merit badges.  If you have not yet earned the Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, or Citizenship in the World merit badges, and you are interested in pursuing the Eagle Scout rank, please know that these are ALL REQUIRED merit badges for the Eagle rank.  You should be taking advantage of this opportunity to earn these merit badges. 

 

2019 Popcorn Sales - OUR 2019 POPCORN CAMPAIGN IS UNDERWAY and runs from September 12th through October 24th!  
Scouts can receive credit for 35% of their total TAKE ORDER toward their individual Scout accounts that they can apply to any Troop 20 event!  
 Order forms will be available at this week's Troop meeting on September 12th.  PLEASE SEE MRS. MACDONALD IF YOU ARE INTERESTED!

 

 

Cachalot Merit Badge College - Nov 6 and Nov 20

 

Troop 3, New Bedford will be sponsoring a merit badge college in the evening on November 6th and November 20th at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational technical High School. Cost is $25 per Scout and includes a meal on both dates.  Please refer to the merit badge college handout, at this link, for more info - Information Packet
