Reminder - Meeting Tomorrow & Ski Trip


Just a reminder, there will be a regular Troop meeting tomorrow night - Thursday, February 27th at 7:00 PM upstairs at the Parish Hall.

Ski trip money is due in full at this meeting.  Your amount due is based on what equipment you chose to rent on the Equipment Rental Form plus $10.00 for lodging see pricing here.  The Troop is covering the cost of food for this trip.  Your payment can be made by check or cash (please make the check out to Troop 20).

Driving arrangements will be made at tomorrow night's meeting, but the tentative time for departure is by 5:30 PM.

IMPORTANT REMINDER - SKI TRIP FORMS!


Just a reminder, all forms for the ski trip must be either dropped off or emailed to Mr. Gilson by tomorrow, Friday, February 21st.  If you are planning on going on this trip - your forms must be in by tomorrow - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Ski Trip Information


The annual Troop 20 Snow Sports/Skiing weekend will be February 28th - March 2nd, 2014.  We will be traveling to the Mt. Abram Family Ski Resort in Greenwood, ME, and will be staying at the American Legion Hall in Greenwood, which is located a few minutes from the ski area.  All the details (including cost) are detailed in the following document:


Mr. Gilson needs to know what you will need (i.e., lessons, rentals, lift tickets, helmets) if you have not already told him.  He also needs the rental agreements and waivers either scanned and emailed to him, or delivered to him at his home (79 Old Center Street, Middleborough) by next Friday, February 21st.   The links to these forms are below:

Remember - the deadline for the return of the forms is Friday, February 21st.  Because we will not be having a meeting this week due to school vacation, the money for this trip will be due at the next Troop meeting on Thursday, February 27th.

Red & Green Tonight

Tonight is the Red & Green banquet at the Parish Hall.  Please arrive at 6:15 PM for table/chair and food setup, with dinner beginning by 7:00 PM.  It is a potluck so don't forget to bring your favorite dish to share - desserts and drinks are provided.

Also, a representative from "Friends of Scouting" will be making a presentation.

Red & Green THIS THURSDAY


Just a reminder, this Thursday, February 13th is Troop 20's annual Red & Green Banquet, as well as the mid-year Court of Honor.  This is a pot luck dinner, so please bring your favorite dish to share with all the other Troop 20 members and their families.  Dessert and drinks will be provided.

Arrival time is 6:15 PM, upstairs at the Parish Hall, for food and table set up, with dinner hopefully beginning around 6:45 PM or 7:00 PM.   Please wear your Class A uniform to this event.

Please check the blog on Thursday morning, as we are supposed to have snow on Thursday.  If any changes are made to this event, it will be posted here.

Meeting Reminder & West Point Items

Just a reminder, there will be a regular Troop meeting tomorrow, February 6th DOWNSTAIRS at the Parish Hall at 7:00 PM.  If you ordered items for the West Point trip (patches, shirts, etc.), you must bring the money tomorrow night and give it to Mr. Goodrich.
