Webelos Woods is an overnight camping weekend for the Webelos and their parents.  Troop 20 are their hosts for the weekend and it is our opportunity to interact with the Webelos, show them what Boy Scouts is all about and most importantly, show them how awesome Troop 20 is!

The weather looks to be great for camping and while it won’t be cold, it will be cooling off and Saturday night could be chilly so dress accordingly.
We’ll see everyone there Saturday morning!

Boston Harbor, George's Island and Fort Warren

The troop has an opportunity to take a trip to George's Island in Boston Harbor on Saturday October 1, 2016.  We would most likely depart in the morning and arrive back on the mainland mid afternoon.  We can have a picnic lunch or cook on the grill or hit the snack bar.

I will need a head count as soon as possible, so please discuss with your parents and let me know if you are interested in going.  We can plan the details of chow during the next troop meeting.

Below is a link to the MA. DCR Georges Island website.  It has a ton of information about the island and Fort Warren.
