Required training for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters. Goes
over the role of the Scoutmaster, Troop Organization, Troop Meetings,
Working with Boy Leaders, Patrol method, Patrol Leader's Council,
Outdoor Program, Advancement, Program Planning, AND MORE! Get a chance
to network and meet with other dedicated Scouters like yourself. Every
boy deserves a trained leader, and we need you!
This training is also great for Troop Committee members to get a better understanding of how troops should operate.

This Friday, February 20th is Game Night at Parish Hall. Drop-off time is 6:00 PM.and all scouts may attend. Food will not be provided, so scouts need to bring their own snacks and drinks. If they wish to order pizza, it will to bring at least $5.00 per scout.
Any scout can bring game consoles
and TVs/monitors. Also feel free to bring handheld
game systems and phones.
Scouts not spending the night will
need to be picked up before the security system is reset, by
Pickup time is 7:00 AM sharp and scouts are expected to help clean up the hall before pickup time.
Please monitor the
blog over the week in case game night has to be postponed due to weather

Happy Snowy Monday! Just a reminder, this Thursday (weather permitting) is the annual Red & Green banquet. I sent out an email to the parents of all scouts that will be receiving badges and/or advancement. If you did not get an email, please check with your scout to see if they are expecting to receive a merit badge. Please let me know as soon as possible (email@example.com) if they are, as I am planning on purchasing the badges by tomorrow night.
Also, there is snow predicted for later in the week, so please keep checking back for updates.
Thursday, February 12th is Troop 20's annual Red & Green Banquet, as well
as the mid-year Court of Honor.This is
a pot luck dinner, so please bring your favorite dish to share with all the
other Troop 20 members and their families (anything you want to bring is good –
pasta, chicken, meatballs – whatever you want!). Salad, dessert and drinks will be provided.
time is 6:15 PM, upstairs at the Parish Hall, for food and table set up, with
dinner hopefully beginning around 6:45 PM or 7:00 PM.Please wear your Class A uniform to this

Also, this Sunday, February 8th, marks the 105th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America and Boy Scout Sunday. The Cranberry Catholic Collaborative will be holding a Scout Sunday service for all Catholic Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers and Explorers in the Towns of Middleborough and Lakeville at Sts. Martha and Mary Church at 10:00 AM. All scouts and their families are cordially invited to attend this Mass. If you would like to attend, please meet in the lower level of the church at 9:40 AM in full Class A uniform.
There will not be a Troop Meeting this week. We are supposed to get another snow storm on Thursday, and the Parish Hall is being used for Generations of Faith, so Scoutmaster Lamoureux has made the decision to cancel this week's meeting.
Next week is the annual Red & Green banquet. I will be posting details about this later in the week - it is a pot luck dinner, and we hope to see everyone there!
