Troop Meeting Tomorrow Night

There will be a regular Troop Meeting tomorrow night at 7:00 PM upstairs at the Parish Hall.

At 7:30 PM, Mr. Lamoureux will be awarded the Wood Badge beads.  Wood Badge is a scout leadership program that exists in the BSA organization throughout the World.  Wood Badge courses teach advanced leadership skills and create a further commitment to the Scout community.  It has taken Mr. Lamoureux over a year to complete this commitment, and we look forward to recognizing him for his hard work and achievement by earning this recognition.

Hope to see everyone tomorrow night!

Volunteers Needed - This Saturday

Volunteers are needed this Saturday, May 3rd, to replace veterans' cemetery flags (with a rain date of Saturday, May 17th).  Many members of the community, including Troop 20, have assisted local veterans with this in the past few years.  It is a rewarding and informative way for scouts to give back to the community.

The day starts at 7:00 AM, downstairs at the VFW Post on Station Street with a free breakfast for all that attend.  From the breakfast, groups are divided up and move on to various cemeteries around town, and usually finish up before lunch.  Anyone who is interested in volunteering for this important task is welcome!

If you plan on attending, try to bring a pair of pliers (channel pliers work best), to help remove stubborn flags from their holders.

If anyone has some free time on Saturday, it is a great way to remember the veterans who have served our country.

Have a nice weekend!
