There will NOT be a regular Troop Meeting this week - the Parish Hall is being used by the Confirmation program at the church.
HOWEVER, anyone involved in the upcoming trip to West Point (this weekend) will need to meet at the lower hall/food pantry (scouts, leaders and parents). Scouts need to bring their gear for the weekend trip on Thursday night to have it packed into the trailer. PLEASE NOTE: No clothing items with camouflage will be allowed. Also, please bring your Class B shirts (scout like shirt, scout pants/shorts) as these will have to be worn when you are not wearing your Class A uniform.
A water bottle and comfortable, appropriate footwear is a MUST for this event, since there is hiking involved.
LASTLY, SCOUTS ATTENDING THIS TRIP WILL HAVE TO MISS SCHOOL ON FRIDAY, MAY 2ND, BECAUSE OF THE LONG DISTANCE THAT HAS TO BE TRAVELED TO GET TO NY. We will have the departure time later in the week, but it will be in the morning.

Good Morning! On Thursday, April 17th, Sacred Heart/St. Vincent dePaul Food Pantry is asking if some scouts could assist in filling the Easter meal boxes. It will be happening downstairs at the Parish Hall at 5:30 PM, and should only take about 30 - 40 minutes. Camp Out Equipment & Medical Forms
Since there many new scouts in the Troop, it was suggested that a list be formulated of some of the equipment needed, both for Troop camp outs and summer camp at Camp Squanto. Below are some suggestions (there is also a link here if you would like to print the checklist out). As always, if anyone has any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask any questions at any Troop meetings.
Also, a current BSA Medical Form will be needed. Here is a link to the BSA site that will take you directly to the BSA Medical Form. This will bring you to a page where you can select all or a portion of the pages required. For summer camp, you will need the "Are You Going to Camp?" version of the medical form.
