Nice to see the Troop doing so well!

Just wanted to say what a pleasure it was to see the Troop doing so well tonight.  Keep up the great work everybody!  If you like a little light reading, I posted a rather lengthy post on Facebook, just look me up.

You've got a great bunch of boys and a great bunch of leaders, you should all be proud!  And thanks Caleb!

Congratulations to Scoutmaster Lamoureux who was formally promoted by Bridgewater Fire to Captain on Tuesday night.  His new badge is being pinned on in the above photo by his father, Paul Lamoureux, Sr.

 

Reminder - Court of Honor Tomorrow Night

Just a reminder, the end of the year Court of Honor is tomorrow night, June 18th.  Please arrive at 6:30 PM for setup, as the ceremony begins promptly at 7:00 PM.  Also, please remember to bring Summer Camp payments and choices for camp merit badges.

Just a reminder, this Thursday, June 18th is the final Court of Honor for the year.  Please arrive at 6:30 PM for setup.  The Court of Honor will begin at 7:00 PM.  There will be refreshments served after the ceremony.

Also, if you haven't paid for summer camp, or if you need to make your merit badge selections for camp, please do so this week.

Jon's Eagle Project - THiS WEEKEND!

Jon is still working on his Eagle Project.  The next couple of dates will be this Saturday, June 13th at his house, 10 Cordial Road, Middleborough from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM; and June 14rh at 1417 Park Street, Oak Knoll Wildlife Sanctuary, Attleboro, MA 02703 from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM.  If you need directions to the location, please click here  On Saturday, the 13th, we will be painting a table and chairs, lacking the benches, and washing some of the games for the area.  On Sunday, the 14th, we will be completing the final setting of all of the pieces for the project at the site in Attleboro.  Also, be sure to wear work clothes on both days and to bring work gloves on Sunday.

Hope everyone can give some time to this great project this weekend!

Tuesday Update

 

There is a regular Troop Meeting this Thursday, June 11th DOWNSTAIRS at the Parish Hall, due to an event that is being set up at the upstairs hall. 

Also, there will be a list at this week's meeting of all advancements and merit badges that will be given out at Court of Honor on June 18th.  Please be sure to check the list for accuracy to be sure everyone gets whatever they are expecting.

Reminders for Tomorrow

Just a few reminders.  There is a Committee Meeting tomorrow at 6:00 PM, followed by a regular Troop Meeting at 7:00 PM. 

If you have been working on the Personal Fitness merit badge with Mr. Brown, please bring your workbook/worksheets to this week's meeting.  If you do not have them, you will have to wait until Fall to complete the merit badge.

Also, interviews for the top positions in the Troop will be held tomorrow night.

Tuesday Reminders

There will be a Committee meeting this Thursday, June 4th at 6:00 PM, followed by a regular Troop meeting at 7:00 PM.  Elections for troop positions will take place at this meeting, so if you are interested in holding a position next year, please be sure to attend.

Also, Jon McLaughlin is looking for volunteers to help with his Eagle project this Sunday, June 7th at 1417 Park Street in Attleborough, MA 02703 (click here for a map to this location) from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM.  He needs assistance clearing brush from the site and moving games to the site from around the company area.   Any volunteers that come please bring: gloves, rakes, loppers, and long pants. It would also be great if someone could bring along another wheelbarrow as well.  Additional dates will be announced after the completion of this coming Sunday will be posted here.
