Boston Harbor, George's Island and Fort Warren
The troop has an opportunity to take a trip to George's Island in Boston Harbor on Saturday October 1, 2016. We would most likely depart in the morning and arrive back on the mainland mid afternoon. We can have a picnic lunch or cook on the grill or hit the snack bar.
I will need a head count as soon as possible, so please discuss with your parents and let me know if you are interested in going. We can plan the details of chow during the next troop meeting.
Below is a link to the MA. DCR Georges Island website. It has a ton of information about the island and Fort Warren.
