Troop Meeting - Thursday 12/12 7:00 - 8:30PM / Church of Our Savior Hall

Hello Troop 20!

There will be a Troop Meeting this Thursday from 7:00 - 8:30pm at Church of our Savior Hall, 60 Union Street, Middleborough.  Please park in the Town Hall lot.  The church hall is located a very short walk down Union Street.  It's a red brick building right on the corner of Union Street. 
Please remember that we line up for our opening ceremony at 7:00PM so you need to plan to be at the hall about 10 minutes earlier.  Please arrive wearing your Class A uniform, shirts tucked in.

Upcoming Events:

12/12
Meeting at Troop 96 hall.  Yankee Swap.  Each scout that wants to participate should bring a wrapped $10 gift along with a snack to share.
12/19
No Troop Meeting but we will meet at the Sacred Heart hall, downstairs in the food pantry, to help pack Christmas meal boxes.
Time will be 6:15 – 8:00pm
12/20
Swim night, 6-8pm, at the Middleborough YMCA.  There is a $5 fee for non-YMCA members.  Troop 96 will be providing pizza.  Please look for a signup sheet at this week’s Troop Meeting so we’ll have headcount.

Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Jared Pierce. 2:00PM at Middleborough Town Hall Ballroom

Ski Trip – Crotched Mountain.  We need signups & rental forms ASAP, along with a $50 deposit.

Scout Sunday.  11:00am mass at Sacred Heart Church.  Please attend in full Class A.  Scouts may also attend their own church in uniform for those not a member of Sacred Heart parish.

Annual Dues:

Our annual dues are $100 per Scout this year.  These are due now.  Checks should be made out to 'Troop 20'.  If you have any questions, please see one of the Scoutmasters or Mrs. Swindle at the Troop meeting.



Crotched Mountain Ski Trip:  Please review the attached flyer at this link.  This contains information about the overnight program with costs.  Prices include a lesson on Friday evening at 7:00PM for anyone who wishes or would like a refresher.  Mr. Cunningham has offered to run the snow sports merit badge for anyone who wants to try earning it that weekend.
For anyone who plans to attend, we will need a non-refundable $50 deposit by our last Troop meeting this month (12/20/19), at which time we will not take any additional reservations.  The deposit can only be refunded if someone else who wanted to go, but missed the deadline, still wants to go.  Any Scouts planning to attend will also need to complete these two documents:
